Timeline Stage
Installation made for the “Timeline” festival aims to bring its
participants to an interdisciplinary journey of electronic music and
architecture. Drawing attention to the changing perception of time
through its setup and exhibition, it aims to highlight the binding and
empathetic atmosphere of the collective experience of “raving”. It is
located in the modern art museum of Cer Modern in Ankara, which
used to be a railway repair workshop. The installation tells the story
of time and space through the languages of music and architecture,
by using ropes that interact with the light play and change in the
rhythm. The geometry aims to highlight the unique structure of the
museum as well as centring attention towards the performing artists.
